There were these two huge fat kids at Shirley Boys' in my year, Nick and Lee. Nobody liked them, I'm not sure if it was because they were so fat or if it was because they were dicks. They used to walk around the school between all the various groups from our year level terrorising everyone. They would arrive at the group of my friends and call everyone names and push people around, using their weight to their advantage. At Shirley Boys' everything was a competition, from the class room, to sports, to strength, to social life, to music, to art, to relationships, everything was quantifiable and everything was a competition. If you show any level of vulnerability you get absolutely destroyed, because tearing someone down was as good as achieving because achievement was only ever comparative. Nick and Lee were the winners of the size competition, they took it in their stride and were proud of their weight (on the outside at least, because showing any vulnerability or unease in their image would leave them open to destruction) and they made sure everyone else knew about it too. They called attention to my 'boy titties' and said they didn't have 'boy titties' they had 'man titties'. I wasn't proud of my boy titties. Once they came to my group, targeted me and pushed me over and then they took turns sitting on me. I had a aux to tape adapter in my pocket which broke, when I pulled out the pieces of it they said they were very sorry for breaking it and Nick brought me one of his from home the next day. They never apologised for pushing me over or sitting on me though, because that was just part of the game.
