I write for a music website called The Corner, it's pretty fun. I have never considered being a "music journalist" and I have always said that writing about music has never really been a passion of mine, but it actually is, I really like critically interpreting music. I still don't want to be a music journalist but by doing it every week it is really improving my writing skills, especially in that style. Being NZ Music Month, I have been writing more for it, but I am really slack and bad at deadlines. Everything I write takes me a lot of time, and I always seem to think I can just put aside an hour on a Sunday night and get a review/article done but I can't.
Today I listened to: Sonic Youth, The White Stripes, The Beatles, Cyclops, Hawaii Five O, Jack Hooker, Lost Rockets
Today I read: Notes Raymond Carver wrote about a couple of short stories and a bunch of poems, I haven't read any of his poetry but I really enjoyed reading about how he wrote it.
